MCARA holds a biennial reunion in even years in the late Spring at various sites around the country. Recent sites included San Diego, Branson, San Antonio, Las Vegas, and Washington DC.

Located in the Southwest United States, in Southern Arizona, Tucson is one of the oldest continually inhabited areas in North America. Hohokam Indians lived and farmed here for 4,000 years before Spanish missionaries and soldiers arrived in the late 1600s. In the 1700s, these "newcomers" established the Presidio San Agustín del Tucson and the Mission San Xavier del Bac -- the two most iconic and historic structures in the region. "The Old Pueblo," as the adobe-walled Tucson Presidio became known, is Tucson's nickname to this day.
The reunion is officially scheduled from Thursday, May 1st to Monday, May 5th. You will be staying at the Doubletree Tucson-Reid Park located at 445 S. Alvernon Way, Tucson, AZ. 85711. The room rate is $99.00 plus tax per night. For those of you who choose to arrive early or stay after the reunion ends, the same room rate will be available three days prior and three days after, based on availability. Reservations may be made by calling the reservation line at 1-800-222-8733 or by calling direct at 520-881-4200 and identifying yourself as part of the MCARA reunion. Hotel check in is 3:00 p.m. Please do not expect to get into your room before then. You may cancel your hotel room up to 48 hours prior to arrival without penalty. Each guest is required to provide a credit card and one night’s room and tax deposit. Please note: the hotel reservation cut-off date is April 8th, 2014, thereafter; reservations will be taken on a space available basis.
If you are flying to the reunion, Tucson International Airport(TUS) is about a 15 minute drive to and from he Doubletree Tucson-Reid Park. Please visit the hotel website for driving directions to the hotel. The hotel offers complimentary self parking.
